Speaking

I have spent more than a decade working with subjects that people find difficult to talk about, difficult to explain, or sometimes difficult even to look at. I know how to take a complicated subject, get underneath the assumptions surrounding it and hold an audience there long enough for something more interesting to emerge.

Encouraging the audience to see their daily interactions through a different lens, or finally understand something incredibly abstract and conceptual, is something I am adept at with my speaking style.

My speaking grows directly from my work and writing. I speak about what I know, my work and the questions I am currently pursuing, which means I do not offer a fixed catalogue of talks. If you have read something of mine that you would like taken further, or my expertise intersects with a conversation you want to have, I can develop the talk around the room.

That room can be a conference, lecture or retreat, but it can just as easily be a private dinner or salon. I also take part in professional panels and guest conversations.

I also give regular talks through The Order of Bona Dea as part of my teaching and institutional work.

If you do not see these articles here, it does not mean I have moved on from the subject matter, it simply has another home. This specifcally includes closed practices, unwanted influence and experiential pieces.
